Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation: Annual Fundraising Gala
Gala 2008: Myths, Legends, and Fairytales: An Evening in the Enchanted Forest
For the third year in a row, Robin Tull had the honor of chairing this annual black-tie/costume ball. The Gala is the largest formal fundraising event in Chesapeake, and is the culmination of 18 months of planning, not to mention some blood, sweat, and tears.
The theme for 2008 was Myths, Legends, and Fairy Tales: An Evening in the Enchanted Forest...and, boy, did creatures from every kingdom come out to play! There were appearances from The Little Mermaid, several Cinderellas, a few Greek gods, the Big Bad Wolf, Fairys, and lots of Toy Soldiers. Our own Robin and Cathy Tull shed their identities for the night to dress as Robin Hood and Maid Marion.
Guests at the TFG table included good friends, as well as some of the TFG staff. And if anyone got out of control, well...they were sent to joust it out at the Queen of Hearts' "Off With His Head" Arena. We didn't have too many problems after that.

The Gala was a great success, with this year's proceeds supporting the Cardiovascular Services at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. This was Robin's final year as Gala Chairman, as he moves on to assume the role of Chairman of the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation Board.
However, the glitz and glamour will go on, so mark your calendars for January 24, 2009 and join us for the Bonsai Bash: A Far East Explosion. Contact the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation office at (757) 312-6670 for more information. Hope to see you there!
Gala 2007: The Glorious '40s
The one of a kind black-tie Gala event, The Glorious '40s,was a huge success! It was Robin Tull's honor to Chair this annual event benefiting the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation, which took place on January 27, 2007. The Gala brought together some of the most prominent citizens of Hampton Roads in support of the Foundation. The event sold out in record time, and donations and support poured in from all over Hampton Roads.
