Robert W. Tull, Jr., CFP®
CEO, President
Robert W. Tull, Jr. is founder and president of Tull Financial Group, Inc., in Chesapeake, Virginia. With more than 20 years of financial planning experience in the Hampton Roads community, he is recognized as a specialist in the area of retirement and estate planning. He also provides highly individualized personal and business advisory services.
Robin, as most know him, entered the financial planning profession after receiving an MBA with a concentration in finance from The University of Houston. He publishes a newsletter, The Quarterly Report, which provides timely insights into the investment climate and addresses practical planning topics for financial success.
While well-known locally as knowledgeable in financial matters, he is also recognized nationally, as a former "Ask the Expert" on Quicken.com's Retirement web site. Robin has also contributed to The New York Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Reader's Digest, CNNfn, SmartMoney Interactive, and Financial Planning magazine. In July of 2007, for the third year in a row, he earned a coveted spot in Wealth Manager Magazine's ranking of America’s top wealth managers.
He has been a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner for 22 years, having served on the national board of directors for the Institute of Certified Financial Planners (ICFP) in Denver, Colorado (1996-1998) and past President of the local Hampton Roads chapter.
Robin is extremely active in his community. He has been a Rotarian for more than 15 years, serving in various capacities including being honored as Past President of the Rotary Club of Chesapeake, Virginia (2001-2002). He is the chairman of the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation Board of Directors and Executive Committee, having served as finance chair and chairman of the Annual Gala. He is also an active member of New Life Church at Providence in Chesapeake. Robin and his wife, Cathy, have four children -- Andrew, Courtnay, Philip, and Victoria.

Kirstin L. Hark
Associate Advisor
Kirstin is celebrating her 12th anniversary with TFG this June! We are glad to have her as a TFG Veteran. Currently an Associate Advisor with Tull Financial Group, she oversees much of the investment policies of the firm. This includes managing client portfolios, and researching investments, government policies and economic trends. She also serves alongside Mr. Tull in navigating our clients’ financial planning progress.
In addition, Kirstin serves as the resident Chief Compliance Officer. This entails documenting, maintaining and reviewing the policies and procedures which guide the organization, in light of SEC regulations and other standards set forth through our professional affiliations (namely NAPFA, the CFP Board, and the FPA). Her role is to ensure the firm remains in full compliance with these rules and regulations through the daily course of business. Kirstin also occasionally reviews the profession’s standards of conduct with employees, which addresses our continual goal to maintain behavioral excellence within the firm.
Kirstin received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from East Texas Baptist University in 1995, and completed her MBA at Regent University in 1999. She is a licensed registered Investment Advisor (Series 65) and is working towards the completion of her studies to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant. Her personal interests are quite broad, including piano and guitar, reading and learning, gardening, the culinary arts, getting outdoors, spending time with good friends and remaining involved with the local church community. She greatly enjoys and appreciates what Hampton Roads provides through the beach, local arts and the region’s historical sites. She resides in Virginia Beach.

Terry L. Crawford
Client Relationship Manager
Continuing the international tradition in our office, Terry joined the Tull Financial Group team in September 2004 and originally hails from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Terry brings with her 17+ years of experience within the executive support role and has worked with one of the largest Fortune 500 companies in the world prior to making Virginia Beach her home. Aside from being the first “fresh face” to greet our clients in-the-door and on the phones, Terry has also become a Registered Paraplanner, adding immeasurable knowledge and value to her role as Client Relationship Manager. Her many other contributions to the business include general administration and office logistics and management.
Terry and her husband, Kevin, are the proud parents of two talented children – Austin, who resides in Ohio with his wife and two children, and April, a recent high school graduate here in Virginia Beach. In her spare time, Terry enjoys a good novel, long walks on the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mikki A. Black
Director of Special Projects
Mikki is skilled in many areas, and that is exactly where she spends the majority of her time … many areas. She designs, plans and coordinates client events and client communications. This, of course, includes the web page you are now accessing. Mikki provides much of the valuable information which is found in Tull Financial Group’s quarterly newsletter, The Quarterly Report, and its regular e-newsletter offering, Tull Financial Group's News to Use . She also serves as company bookkeeper and personal assistant to Mr. Tull.
Mikki is also a freelance news reporter for the Chesapeake and Virginia Beach city television stations. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Regent University, and resides in Chesapeake with her husband, Jay.

Courtnay S. Tull
Summer Intern
Courtnay recently returned from a month-long study-abroad program in Spain, and to that we say "Bienvenido!" We're so glad to have her back, especially since she has decided to grace us once again as one of TFG's Summer Interns. In addition to her lovely telephone voice and her skills with administrative duties such as filing and scanning, Courtnay provides much needed support in the janitorial areas. And we greatly appreciate her!
Courtnay graduated as Salutatorian from Atlantic Shores Christian School in 2007, and continues her academic adventures this fall as a Junior at Oral Roberts University.
