Kirstin L. Hark
Associate Advisor, CCO
Kirstin is celebrating her 14th anniversary with TFG in June 2011! We are glad to have her as a TFG Veteran. Currently an Associate Advisor with Tull Financial Group, she oversees much of the investment policies of the firm. This includes managing client portfolios, and researching investments, government policies and economic trends. She also serves alongside Mr. Tull in navigating our clients’ financial planning progress.
In addition, Kirstin serves as the resident Chief Compliance Officer. This entails documenting, maintaining and reviewing the policies and procedures which guide the organization, in light of SEC regulations and other standards set forth through our professional affiliations (namely NAPFA, the CFP Board, and the FPA). Her role is to ensure the firm remains in full compliance with these rules and regulations through the daily course of business. Kirstin also occasionally reviews the profession’s standards of conduct with employees, which addresses our continual goal to maintain behavioral excellence within the firm.
Kirstin received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from East Texas Baptist University in 1995, and completed her MBA at Regent University in 1999. She is a licensed registered Investment Advisor (Series 65) and is working towards the completion of her studies to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™

Personal Interests: Her personal interests are quite broad, including piano and guitar, reading and learning, gardening, the culinary arts, getting outdoors, spending time with good friends and remaining involved with the local church community. Kirstin greatly enjoys and appreciates what Hampton Roads provides through the beach, local arts and the region’s historical sites.
Favorite Food: Kirstin loves almost anything you place in front of her, but enjoys food best when it is fresh & in season, prepared with quality, and it presents well. (Appearance is a big part of the experience!) In addition, she finds that eating something you grew yourself is very rewarding and satisfying.
Ideal Vacation Spot: She feels she has a lot of travelling to do before she can answer this one, but she suspects that probably the best vacation spot is where your loved ones are. Last summer she visited friends & family in Europe while seeing some sights along the way.
Did you know?: Kirstin took a sailing class last summer at Old Dominion University, and is considering going back for more this summer! She also has a "bucket list," including a desire to hike to the top of the Half Dome in Yosemite Park in California.
